Basil is a herb containing high level of beta-carotene, an important nutrient which our bodies can convert into vitamin A, to help keep our eyes and skin healthy, and help our bodies grow.

Try putting a bit of chopped basil on some strawberries, it's yummy! You can even make basil and strawberry frozen smoothies.  Just blend some frozen strawberries with a bit of chopped basil!
